Redhill Archers Beginners Course

To enable an absolute beginner to decide whether archery is his/her sport we invite anyone interested to attend a course of five sessions (approx 2 hours each). All necessary equipment is available and you will be given instruction in the basics of shooting, safety and etiquette. You will be allowed to practice under the supervision of a club member who will put you right, answer questions and help if you are in any difficulties.

Children age 8 – 15 years (inc) MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT OR RESPONSIBLE ADULT AT ALL TIMES.

To cover costs and insurance we charge a fee of £35 for the course, which usually starts in May each year but other sessions may be arranged depending upon the level of interest received.

If you decide that you wish to continue in the sport and become a member of Redhill Archers the club equipment is available for your use until such time as you acquire your own, as and when you feel ready. We urge beginners NOT to purchase equipment without advice as to what is suitable for them.
